Mission Beach Hideaway sits in the heart of the village. Walk across the road to the beach, or next door to the Tavern, restaurants, cafés and fashion stores. Park your car and forget it as everything is right here. The beautiful Barrier reef is straight out from us and a remnant World Heritage rainforest literally touches the back of the park.

⛵ Sand Yachting at Mission Beach! 🌴☀️

With a good breeze blowing today, we pulled an old sand yacht out of the shed, dusted it off and headed straight for the beach!

A few of our Hideaway guests joined in and what a fabulous afternoon we had. One adventurous sailor made it almost to Wongaling, while we also ventured all the way up towards Clump Point!

Great breeze, a beautiful beach, plenty of laughs and lots of fun. Sometimes the best afternoons are the ones you don’t plan! 😎⛵

The sand yacht definitely won’t be staying in the shed now!

The best caravan park we have stayed in extremely friendly staff and owner Gerald very hospitable And the grounds are the most well kept we have ever seen Safe place and quiet Village only 2 minutes away Beach 1min walk You can hear the ocean rumbling in the evening very tranquil Rainforest surrounds lots of bird life in the forest lovely to listen to

We came in a caravan and thought this was an excellent park . So immaculate and clean. Staff are so helpful and friendly. We just thought they could put a few more bins around the camping area. Also they weren't  up for bargaining to get a cheaper rate if we stayed longer. Apart from that we would definitely stay again.
