Mission Beach Hideaway sits in the heart of the village. Walk across the road to the beach, or next door to the Tavern, restaurants, cafés and fashion stores. Park your car and forget it as everything is right here. The beautiful Barrier reef is straight out from us and a remnant World Heritage rainforest literally touches the back of the park.

⛵ Sand Yachting at Mission Beach! 🌴☀️
With a good breeze blowing today, we pulled an old sand yacht out of the shed, dusted it off and headed straight for the beach!
A few of our Hideaway guests joined in and what a fabulous afternoon we had. One adventurous sailor made it almost to Wongaling, while we also ventured all the way up towards Clump Point!
Great breeze, a beautiful beach, plenty of laughs and lots of fun. Sometimes the best afternoons are the ones you don’t plan! 😎⛵
The sand yacht definitely won’t be staying in the shed now!

What an amazing season it is — certainly the busiest we’ve ever experienced! 🌴☀️
We’ve welcomed so many new faces to Hideaway this year, and it’s been wonderful seeing them so warmly welcomed by guests who have been returning year after year.
That’s what makes Hideaway so special. It’s more than just somewhere to stay — it really does become a home away from home, especially during our beautiful Mission Beach winter.
There’s something wonderful about seeing familiar faces return, new friendships being made, and first-time guests quickly becoming part of the Hideaway family.
